I’m Zachari Saltmer, a psychology-led web designer and business consultant based in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. I design websites for how people actually think, decide and buy. Not how a moodboard hopes they will.
The short version
Twenty years on the internet. A design practice built on cognitive science: how people scan, what makes them trust, which sentence turns a maybe into an email. I work with startups, e-commerce stores, personal brands and local businesses: anyone whose website needs to start pulling its weight.
The slightly longer version
Most websites are built to please the business that paid for them. I build for the people who land on them: what they notice in the first three seconds, what makes them trust the page, what makes them hesitate, and which exact sentence turns a maybe into an enquiry.
I also consult on the business side of design: positioning, pricing pages, and the operational decisions that determine whether a website is an asset or a very expensive brochure.
Around the web
Writing about me instead of to me: the press page carries the boilerplate and the topics I can speak to.
If your website needs to start pulling its weight, the contact page is one click away. Bring context and I’ll bring honest answers.
